1145. Holyhead Packet Gulnare (OD & OE). Feb. 1832, May, Aug., Nov., Dec. 1833, Aug. 1837, Feb., Apr., Jun. 1838, Jul., Aug. 1839, Feb. 1840. 26 items.
Two 50 horse power side lever boat engines, with 39½ inch cylinders, 3½ foot strokes. Boat re-named Gleaner, power increased to 65 horses 1837.

For H. M. Post Office, Holyhead station. Gulnare was built at Chatham Dockyard. The boat was re-named Gleaner in 1837 when the Navy took over the Post Office packet fleet. She was later deployed as a tender at the North America and West Indies station at Bermuda, and scrapped in 1850. Her engines were transferred to the Monkey, formerly the Royal Sovereign.
