Two 40 horse power oscillating engines, with 36½ inch cylinders, 3 foot strokes. Copper boiler - coloured original and coloured reverse drawings; cylinder and slide (2 sheets of drawings), plan of engines etc., section of condenser etc., upper headstock and shaft etc. - partially coloured drawings; 2 coloured tracings of midship section marked "This plan not adopted"; plan of the deck, longitudinal section of the engine room and boiler, cross-section of the boat and engines, plan of engine room - coloured original and coloured reverse drawings; plummer block and column bolts, paddle wheel, working gear shaft, eccentric and starting gear (coloured) - drawings made by James Brown. All the drawings were made in the London office and all except the last 4 items by Brown and the tracings of the midship section bear letter codes. Original Portfolio or 'Book' No. 1022.
