| Description | 8 horse power double-acting sun & planet engine, with 16 inch cylinder, 4 foot stroke, parallel motion. Engine formerly belonged to George, Richard & Alisdair Burden.

All the drawings except those of the mill bear letter codes. The two coloured drawings have the name of the firm, the date and the title crossed out, and were never sent. Presumably re-drawn versions were sent in their place.

For Wetherell Garcia Ramirez & Co. Cork and bark mill, Seville, Spain. The concern changed soon after the order was placed, to Wetherell Jiminez & Co. According to the Catalogue of Old Engines this engine formerly belonged to G. R. & A. Burden of Mansfield. Boulton & Watt re-purchased it from them in 1795. Considerable delays ensued in the shipping of the engine to Spain.
