Two sets of two 30 horse power oscillating engines.

Sections and plans of boiler - partially coloured original and partially coloured reverse drawings made in the London office; tracing of wheels for screw propelling; spur wheel and pinion for driving propeller shaft - partially coloured drawing; plan of engines and boiler, cross-section of engines and boiler, plan of upper headstocks etc., screw propeller (original drawing only), cross-section of boat at after bulkhead showing support for end of shaft, plan of the deck timbers (not coloured), longitudinal section of engine room, profile and plan of vessel showing propeller shaft etc. - partially coloured original and partially coloured reverse drawings made in the London office; waste water pipes and valves etc., partially coloured drawing made in the London office; bilge pump etc. - partially coloured original and reverse drawing made in the London office; shafting etc. for screw propeller - coloured drawing; wheel and pinion for driving the screw propeller - partially coloured drawing; waste water valve - coloured drawing made in the London office; tracing of propeller. For the Continental Cattle Steam Ship Conveyance Co. The boats were screw propeller-driven. Henry Hazleton allocated separate portfolio numbers to both boats, despite the fact that they did not have separate drawings; Free Trade was Portfolio 1207, and Eider was Portfolio 1208.
