Two 35 horse power side lever boat engines, with 35½ inch cylinders, 3 foot strokes.

Cross-section of the boat and engines, plan of the deck beams and longitudinal section of the engine room and boiler, side view of the gangway wale, plan of the engine room and boiler etc. - reverse drawings made in the London office; section and plan of the boiler - partially coloured direct copy and reverse drawings (also used for the Beacon; the direct copy is stuck onto a sheet alongside a longitudinal section of the boiler); longitudinal section of the boiler - partially coloured drawing (also used for the Beacon); paddle wheel, engine and paddle shafts, cranks and plummer blocks - coloured original and coloured reverse drawings. The boiler and paddle wheel drawings bear letter codes.
