60 horse power side lever boat engine, with 42 inch cylinder, 4 foot stroke.

Sketch plan and cross-section of the engine (with note re the engine in Feb. 1818 stuck to the sheet); Side view of frame for supporting the engine and strengthening the boat and plan of part of the boat showing the engine and boilers etc. (partially shaded), cross-sections of the boat showing boilers and shafts and sketch of frame for paddle wheel shaft bearings - reverse drawings; side view of the engine, plan of the engine and boiler etc., cross-section of the boat and shafts and boilers etc. All these drawings except the first item bear letter codes.
Also the following rough sketches, press copies etc.: chimneys, chimney pipes etc. - 2 rough drawings and press copy; feed apparatus - rough sketch; "Scraps of the 60h Boat Engine" - 6 sheets with various press copy sketches and notes stuck to them, including beam ends, cylinder cross bar, clutches, shafts, chimneys, steam pipes, rods and buckets, feed apparatus, suction and water pipes and valves (the sheets were originally sewn together and form 1 item).
Also the following later item: sketch cross-section of the boat marked "Scheme for another engine in the 60h boat", Oct. 1825.
