14 horse power side lever boat engine, with 23½ inch cylinder, 2½ foot stroke. Engine later sold to the Milan Steam Boat Co. and placed in the Verbano.

Sketch side view of the engine, boiler, paddle wheel etc.; cross-section of the boat and plan of the engine and boiler etc., side view of the engine and boiler and view of the front of the boiler - reverse drawings; headstock frame and plummer block for the outer end of the crank shaft and the inner end of the paddle wheel shaft - coloured reverse drawings. All the drawings except the first item bear letter codes.
Also the following later items: coloured views and sections of boiler sent by the Milan Steam Boat Co., Sep. 1834; sections and plan of boiler - partially coloured reverse drawing with letter code, Oct. 1834.

Original Portfolio or 'Book' No. 716. Catalogue of Old Engines p. 312.

For an Italian customer. The boat worked on the River Po. The agents were B. Richards & Co. of 4 Old Jewry St., London. The engine was later sold to the Milan Steam Boat Co. who fitted it in their boat Verbano on Lake Maggiore.
