14 horse power side lever boat engine, with 23½ inch cylinder, 2½ foot stroke.

Cross-section of the boat, plan of the engine room timbers, part of "sheer draught" intended for the engine - coloured reverse drawing; cross-section of the boat and plan of the engine and boiler, side view of the engine and boiler and side view of paddle wheel, sketch showing working of the slide valves (eccentric circle and rod) - reverse drawings; sketch of paddle wheel; press copy sketches of blocks for outer end of engine shafts, shafts, wheels etc.; sketch - "scheme for raising the paddle wheels"; 3 pages removed from books of accounts of orders sent out, recording despatch of various engine and boiler parts for Droop. All the drawings except that for raising the paddle wheels bear letter codes.

For Frederick Schroder, Bremen, Germany. J. A. Droop of Love Lane, Great East Cheap, London was the agent. According to a letter from Schroder of 13 Feb. 1835 (B&W General Steamboat Correspondence 1829-1843), this engine was at work until 1833.
