Sampson Cazenove & Batard of Copthall Court, London were the agents. The engine was mounted in a boat and worked dredging machinery made by John Rennie. The Drawing Office Index describes this as a 10 horse engine, but it is listed as an 8 horse in Engine Order Book No. 9 and in the List of Engines made at Soho.
