Calcutta: 14 horse power independent crank engine, with 22 inch cylinder, 3 foot stroke, parallel motion, cast iron beam, cast iron connecting rod.
Also dredging machinery.
Barcelona: 12 horse power independent crank engine, with 20½ inch cylinder, 3 foot stroke, parallel motion, cast iron beam, cast iron connecting rod.

For the East India Co., Calcutta (engine HN), and for Barcelona, Spain, ordered by Munõz & Goytia, later Jauberry & Co. (engine ID). These engines were mounted in boats and worked dredging machinery made by George & John Rennie. The Calcutta engine was made in 1824, and the drawings were re-used in 1828 for Munõz & Goytia. The Calcutta engine powered the boat as well as the dredging machinery, but the engine for Munõz & Goytia did not, as the reverse paddle wheel drawing is marked "not in M & G." Both these engines were omitted from the Catalogue of Old Engines.
