For Anthony, George, Henry and Jeffery Salvin of Castle Eden. Cotton mill, Durham. This was the third engine that Salvins ordered, following their first 30 horse of 1791 which they sold in 1792 [see Portfolio 5/91], and their 16 horse engine of 1793 [see Portfolio 5/80].
