Double-acting engine, with 45 inch cylinder, 8 foot stroke, parallel motion, separate air pump beam.

General view of the engine and front view of the nozzles and cylinder etc., plan of the engine, side and end views of the parallel motion, plan of the parallel motion - reverse drawings; plummer blocks, gudgeons, saddle plates, regulating radius etc. - large sheet of reverse drawings; gudgeons and plummer blocks for the centre of T bob - reverse drawing. All the drawings bear letter codes.

For Hewas Mine, in the Parish of St. Mewan. The agreement was made by Edward Fox of Wadebridge on behalf of the adventurers. The name is frequently spelt as "Huyas". The engine was stopped in Jan. 1798 and sold to Treskow Mine, where it was still at work in May of that year.
