Original Portfolio or 'Book' No. 53. Catalogue of Old Engines p. 302. For Wheal Towan. The engine was stopped in Jan. 1787 and sold to John Morris of Morriston, near Swansea. When it was erected at his works in 1788 it was converted into a rotative engine with sun and planet wheels, and the rack and sector motion was replaced by a link and roller.
