For Joseph Robinson Pease and company. Oil mill, Sculcoates, Kingston-upon-Hull. The firm later became Pease Wray & Trigg. The engine was replaced in 1803 by a 24 horse power crank engine [see Portfolio 5/323], and was purchased for the East India Dock Co. by John Rennie. It was sold to McMurdo & Hick of Old Ford in 1810.
