20 horse power vertical high pressure engine, with 14½ inch cylinder, 2½ foot stroke.

Plan and sections of engine and boiler and platform etc. - partially coloured drawing; sketch of proposed wheels and shaft for driving existing shaft in the mill (tracing); memorandum of details of the engine and small sketch of crank etc. - 2 items stuck on 1 sheet; arrangement of geared wheels - partially coloured drawing; section and plan of boiler - tracing. The plan of the engines and the drawing of the geared wheels bear letter codes.

For J. & W. Taylor, Leicester. It is unclear when this engine was ordered or built, but the cylinder was sent to Soho Foundry for re-boring and the gearing ordered in Dec. 1859.
