For Richard Howard (d. 1787), his son John, and Thomas Houghton of Hull. Wilmington paper mill, Sutton in Holderness. The business was taken over by Thomas Lee circa 1789. He added a new boiler. In Aug. 1802 the engine was sold to T. & H. Lodge of Halifax.
