Description10 horse power double-acting sun & planet engine, with 17½ inch cylinder, 4 foot stroke, parallel motion.

Coloured original and reverse general view of the engine and boiler, plans and sections of the engine and boiler (6 drawings on 1 sheet); reverse plan and sections of the engine and boiler houses, framing and cistern, showing water wheel; small sketch showing connection of water wheel to rotative shaft; parallel motion - coloured original drawing; working gear - coloured original front and side views; letter from Henry Gardner dated Liverpool, 9 Apr. 1798, with sketch of engine and boiler house, water wheel and "gingam house". All the drawings except the water wheel sketch bear letter codes.

Also small sketch of new and old boilers dated 18 Mar. 1803 (not coded).
