For Jonathan Pollard. Cotton mill, 36 Lever St., Manchester. Pollard bought a second engine, a 53 horse crank engine, in 1814 [see Boulton & Watt Portfolio 5/541]. According to the Catalogue of Old Engines, the concern later became J. & J. Potter.
