For Robert Fall & Co. Flax mill, Westbarns, near Dunbar. According to the correspondence in Business Letter Book Nov. 1800-Jul. 1801, Robert Fall & Co. ordered a 12 horse power engine on 9 Feb. 1801, and presumably Book 429 was opened accordingly. However Engine Order Book No. 3 notes that the engine was suspended, but gives no date. |
