DescriptionEngine with 15 inch cylinder, 4 foot stroke, chain connection. The working beam is shown connected to a second beam which communicates motion to the winding gin. Never built [?].

Original and reverse sections of the engine and winding gear, coloured original and reverse plan of the engine and winding gear (these drawings have captions by Watt); plan of the engine marked "Copied by L. H. [Logan Henderson]"; drawing of spur, cog and eliptical wheels and winding gin. These 6 drawings were found pinned together.

For John Wilkinson. Colliery winding engine, Bradley. It is unclear whether this engine was built. Dickinson & Jenkins assume that it was, but it does not appear in the List of Engines made at Soho or in any of the lists of Wilkinson's engines drawn up during his dispute with Boulton & Watt.
