290. Joseph Cooper & Son, Leith (CS). Oct. 1800, May 1801. 4 items. 6 horse power double-acting crank engine, with 14¾ inch cylinder, 3 foot stroke, parallel motion, cast iron connecting rod.
Reverse general view of the engine, reverse plan of the engine and boiler; reverse sections of the engine house and framing, reverse plan of the engine house, framing and boiler seating foundation work and cistern (these 2 sheets of drawings were re-made in Jan. 1828), cross-section of boiler seating and longitudinal section of engine house, framing and boiler. All the drawings bear letter codes.
