45 horse power double-acting crank engine, with 33 1/3 inch cylinder, 5 foot stroke, parallel motion, cast iron beam, cast iron connecting rod.
Also fire extinguishing apparatus.

Reverse general view of the engine and boilers, reverse plan of the engine and 3 boilers; plan and section of the engine and 2 boilers - the section is dated Sep. 1802 and marked "Engine & boiler as executed"; reverse plan and sections of the engine and boiler houses and framing; plummer block pillar - reverse drawing; parallel motion for the hot and cold water pumps - reverse drawing marked "McConnel & Kennedy to have no hot water pump consequently no parallel motion will be required for it"; parallel motion for the cold water pump - reverse drawings. The reverse drawings bear letter codes.
Also coloured sketch of feed apparatus "to serve several boilers same as at McConnel & Kennedy's per W. C. [William Creighton] 1827".
