36 horse power double-acting crank engine, with 30¾ inch cylinder, 6 foot stroke, parallel motion, cast iron beam, cast iron connecting rod.
Also fire extinguishing apparatus, gas lighting.

Reverse general view of the engine, reverse plan of the engine and boilers; reverse plan and sections of the engine and boiler houses and framing; pillar plate, pillars - reverse drawings ( the drawing of the pillars has a drawing of columns for 6 foot stroke engines dated 2 Apr. 1812 attached); boiler seating - reverse drawing marked "a 45 horse boiler sent 1814". All the drawings bear letter codes.
Also section of the engine house, plan of the engine and section of the mill showing pipes, cistern and air vessels for fire extinguishing apparatus, Sep. 1802.
Also section of the mill, and sheet of sketch plan and section of the mill showing gas lights, pipes, retorts, gasometer etc. dated 30 Jun. 1809.
