Reverse general section of the engine, reverse plan of the engine and 3 boilers; reverse plan and sections of the engine and boiler houses and framing and boiler seating; sketch plan and elevations of the engine house and notes on the engine parts by William Creighton, dated 28 Jun. 1802. All the drawings except the last item bear letter codes.

For Daintry Ryle & Co. Cotton mill, Macclesfield. The Catalogue of Old Engines calls the firm "Daintry Royle & Co." Drawings of the steam apparatus bought in 1805 [see Portfolio 5/363] calls the firm Daintry Ryle & Daintry. Soon after, the firm became T. S. Daintry & Co., then Wood Daintry & Wood. |
