Includes reverse general view of the engine marked "From Ecton", 2 coloured original plans and reverse copies, reverse plans and sections of the engine and boiler houses, framing; parallel motion - coloured original and reverse copy marked "From John James"; working gear - coloured original plans, reverse plans marked ""From John James" and front and side views; section of the mill showing floors; plan showing location of water wheel and shafts.

For George, Richard and Alexander Burden of Langwith [?]. Cotton mill, Mansfield. The engine was re-purchased by Boulton & Watt in 1795, and according to the catalogue of Old Engines it was sold to Wetherell & Co. for their bark and cork mill in Seville, Spain.
