30 horse power double-acting crank engine, with 28? inch cylinder, 6 foot stroke, parallel motion, cast iron beam, [cast iron connecting rod].

Reverse plan of the engine house, boilers and part of mill, sections of the engine and boiler houses; bevel wheels - reverse drawing; small rough sketch plan of the engine.
Also the following drawings from repairs made in 1836: press copy drawings of new hot water cistern, waste water pipes, delivering valve, parts of valves, end of connecting rod, beam, pipes, parts of air pump etc.; coloured original end view and plan of 3 boilers, both marked "Wren & Bennett, millwrights, Manchester". All the drawings except the small rough sketch plan bear letter codes.

For the Mold Twist Co. Cotton mill, Mold, Wales (formerly in Cheshire). The firm was T. & W. Bateman, but was usually referred to as the Mold Twist Co. By the time of the 1836 repairs the mills had passed to Thomas Trueman & Co.
