439. Meux Reid & Co., London, No. 2 (KK). Feb., Jul. 1811, Aug.-Oct. 1869, Jun. 1879. 12 items. 32 horse power double-acting crank engine, with 29 inch cylinder, 6 foot stroke, parallel motion, cast iron beam, cast iron connecting rod.
Reverse plan and sections of the engine and boiler houses and boiler; sketch section of the brewhouse with engine pencilled in, marked "house built for Hornblower & Co.'s engine; sketch plan of the engine house and boiler, stable and part of brewhouse; plan of the premises showing hop backs, horse wheels [?], mash tuns, boiler of first engine, new engine pencilled in etc.; plan of the engine, boiler and engine house marked "Plan of the Situation of 32 horse engine Messrs. Meux Reid & Co. No. 2, 1811". The reverse drawings bear letter codes.
