36 horse power double-acting crank engine, with 30¾ inch cylinder, 6 foot stroke, parallel motion, cast iron beam, cast iron connecting rod.
Also gas lighting apparatus.

Reverse plan and sections of the engine and boiler houses and boilers (the plan shows the boilers for the second engine); letter from Henry Creighton dated 31 Mar. 1812 with plan of the mill, 2 engine houses, 2 sets of 3 boilers and 2 sets of gasometers and retorts etc. All the drawings except the last item bear letter codes.

For Heathfields & Co. Textile [?] mill, Sheffield. According to the Drawings Office Index this engine was later owned by Strange & Webber. For Heathfields' second engine see Portfolio 5/447.
