Includes coloured original and reverse general view of the engine, coloured original and reverse plans and sections of the engine, boiler and engine house showing the gin barrel and gear, pump beam, external elevation of engine house; boiler - coloured and reverse original plans and sections; engine house - separate set of original (not coloured) and reverse plans and sections; framing and cistern - coloured original and reverse copy; parallel motion - coloured original and reverse copy; working gear - coloured original and reverse front and side views marked "Nozzles same as Reynolds"; plummer blocks and gudgeons (reverse); bearer bars, grate bars, fireplace box, dead plate - original and reverse copies; letter from John Southern to Edward Eardley dated Birmingham, 8 Jun. 1790, with drawing of damper plate and frame, reverse copy of this drawing. All the drawings bear letter codes.
