485. Thomas Harrison & Sons, Stalybridge (UI). Aug., Nov. 1823, May 1824. 7 items. 80 horse power crank engine, with 44 inch cylinder, 7 foot stroke, parallel motion, [cast iron beam, cast iron connecting rod].
Reverse plan and sections of the engine house (the longitudinal section has a governor and eccentric working gear pencilled in), plan of the tunnel, longitudinal section of crank and column platforms, view of the column platform, plan and sections of 3 boilers; coloured plan and elevation of the mill showing floors, columns, windows, engine and boiler houses etc. sent by James Fairweather, 22 Aug. 1823. All the drawings except the last item bear letter codes.
