491. Benjamin Gott & Sons, Leeds (UW). Aug. 1824, Jan., Mar. 1825, Aug. 1860, Jun. 1863. 10 items. 80 horse power double-acting crank engine, with 44 inch cylinder, 7 foot stroke, parallel motion, cast iron beam, [cast iron connecting rod].
Reverse plan and sections of the engine and boiler houses and boilers (the longitudinal section of the engine house has part of the beam pencilled in), plan of the tunnel; cold water pump; sketch of boiler steam pipes; letter from William Bennett dated Leeds, 24 Jan. 1825, with sketch plans and elevations of the mill; plan of the engine and boiler houses showing connection to millwork, with old engine pencilled in and pencil sketches of stocks and shaft and external elevation of the mill; incomplete external elevation of the engine house [?]. The reverse drawings bear letter codes.
