Includes reverse plans and sections of the engine, boiler and engine house, showing architectural features such as windows, doors, stairs and cupola; initial sketch sections from Oct. 1785, one of which is marked "See Whitbread"; connection to the large horizontal wheel of the brewery; working gear including coloured front and side views, nozzles; parallel motion, marked "Gudgeon, plummer blocks etc. same with Mr. Whitbread's"; rough sketch plan of layout of engine house; small plan and section of boiler, possibly from a later date. All drawings are reverse copies.
