40 horse power double-acting crank engine, with 32½ inch cylinder, 6 foot stroke, parallel motion, [cast iron beam, cast iron connecting rod].

Reverse longitudinal section of the 40 horse power engine house, cross-section of 2 engine houses (showing 40 and 24 horse engine), cross-sections of boiler and 40 horse power engine house, reverse plan of 2 engine houses and boiler house; note from Frederick Bennett to Gilbert Hamilton with sketches of the spring beams; 2 undated drawings of clutch levers; rough sketch of top of columns etc. [?]; templates for top and bottom of cold water pump.
