30 horse power crank engine, with [29 inch cylinder], 5 foot stroke, parallel motion, [cast iron beam, cast iron connecting rod].

Reverse plan and sections of the engine and boiler houses and boiler, plan of the tunnel and covering stones, plan and elevation of steam and feed pipes; spur wheels and pinions - coloured original drawings. All these drawings bear letter codes. Also sketch of steam pipe, sheet of calculations for wheels, press copy memorandum of dimensions of wheels, pencil sketch of the grindstones [?] (this is on the reverse of a printed sheet of grain prices at Newcastle), pencil drawing of shafts and levels etc. marked "Robert Wood & Son, Larchfield Foundry, Leeds"; printed list of metal materials of the engine; "List of stones for a 30 horse engine for J. P. Harvey", marked "with our letter, 7 Apr. 1845"; memorandum for Mr. Harvey's wheels; sketch plan of the mill showing location of engine house and with notes about the floors (this is on the back of a transcript of a bargain & sale of land in Spalding); press copy section and plan of the engine house; note about Harvey's slide valves, dated 28 Jan. 1848.
