Single-acting engine, with 48 inch cylinder, 8 foot stroke, chain connection.

Reverse general view of the engine and boiler and pump with corrected drawing of beam stuck on, reverse plans and sections of the engine and boilers and pump; reverse plans and sections of the engine house and pump; 3 press copy plans and section of the engine and boiler houses; top nozzle - original and reverse drawing marked "not executed"; clack and suction pipe - reverse drawings; new beam design - coloured original drawing sent to Boulton & Watt; chain links and adjusting screws, air pump rod cap, piston rod cap and cross bar, martingales, beam strap ends, air pump cross bar, cross bar for the great pump bucket rod - reverse drawings; beam - section near the air pump chains and view of the cylinder end; working gear - reverse front and side views; reverse plan and section of the boiler and seating; reverse plans and sections of the bucket and clack; nozzles - partially coloured original and partially coloured reverse drawings marked "nozzles 46 & 50 single" and "Ocker Hill, MDT etc. altered to this" on the drawings of the top nozzle, and "Wanlockhead altered" on the drawings of the lower nozzle, dated Jun. 1795; coloured plan of the area showing the River Amstel, the lake, site of the engine etc. Almost all the drawings bear letter codes.
