571. Crinan Canal Co., Argyleshire. May 1794. 3 items. 8 horse power crank engine, with 16 inch cylinder, 4 foot stroke, parallel motion. Engine formerly belonged to the Lancaster Canal Co.

For the Crinan Canal Co. The engine was originally made for the Lancaster Canal Co. in 1793, but it was sold to the Crinan Co. in May 1794. The engine was sold to Leith Docks in 1802.
