Single-acting engine, with 63 inch cylinder, 8½ foot stroke, chain connection, unequal beam.

Reverse general section of the engine, plans and sections of the engine and boiler; plan and sections of the air pump, plan and section of the air pump and condenser (partially coloured, marked "This fair copy made Jun. 1827"), condenser, perpendicular steam pipe, eduction pipe, blowing pipe, plan of the beam - reverse drawings; coloured ground plan of the former engine house showing situation of 2 atmospheric engines with 72 and 74 inch cylinders, boilers, chimneys, engine pits etc.; cross-section of the east engine house showing arrangement of atmospheric engine, boilers, pumps, cistern etc. All the drawings except the last 2 items bear letter codes.
