585. Gravesend Tunnel (GT). Jan., Mar.-Jul. 1801. 17 items. Single-acting engine, with 52 inch cylinder, 8 foot stroke, chain connection.

For the Gravesend Tunnel. The engine was erected at Tilbury Fort. It was later damaged by fire and the materials were bought by Hawks & Co. of Newcastle upon Tyne.
