586. Kenton Colliery (KC). Nov. 1800, Feb., Oct. 1801, Sep. 1802. 9 items. Single-acting engine, with 52 inch cylinder, 8 foot stroke, chain connection, unequal beam.
Reverse general view of the engine and boiler, plan of the engine and boilers; reverse plan and sections of the engine house and boilers, drawings of cistern; 3 small sheets of rough pencil sketches including beam, gudgeons and plummer blocks [?] etc., 2 of which are marked "Kenton 7 Feb. 1801"; plan of the situation of the colliery and section showing ground level, coal seams, pits, winding engine etc., dated Nov. 1800. The reverse drawings bear letter codes.
