Two single-acting engines, with 64 inch cylinders, 8 foot strokes, parallel motions, cast iron beams.

Reverse plan of the engine house showing both engines and pumps, plan of the tunnels and beams for supporting the pumps, longitudinal section of the engine house and pump, cross-section of the engine and boiler houses and boilers, cross-section of the engine house at the pump well, elevation and plan of the boiler house. All these drawings are signed by William Anderson, the Regent's Canal Co. engineer, and were attached to the following: contract between M. R. Boulton and James Watt Jr. and The Regent's Canal Co. for two engines, 20 Jul. 1819, signed and sealed by James Wilson [?], clerk to the company.
Also reverse longitudinal section of the boiler house; plan of the engines and boilers and pumps (one of the boilers is marked "a Brunton's fire place"), longitudinal section of the engine house and pump, cross-section of the engine house at the cylinder end and cross-section of the boilers, cross-section showing the pumps (these drawings have been given the wrong letter codes and marked "GJ" on the back but do show the Regent's Canal engines); working barrel and clack seat and pipes, plan of the pumps and air vessel etc. - partially coloured reverse drawings; air machine and gearing - partially coloured direct copy; small sketches of pump rods and joints; scale showing height of water, bottom of well etc., sketches showing heights of water etc. of Regent's Canal, Grand Junction Water Works and West Middlesex Water Works marked "from Mr. Anderson's information 1 Jul. 1819." All the reverse and direct copy drawings bear letter codes.
