Alterations made in 1788 to the engine at Hawkesbury Colliery, Bedworth, near Coventry, Warwickshire. This engine was usually referred to as "The Bedworth Engine". John Southern opened Book 98 in 1788 especially for these alterations, which coincided with the engine being moved to Exhall Colliery.
