Coloured original and reverse sections and plans of the engine house, plan of the engine house and 2 round boilers; reverse drawings of cistern; condenser - original and reverse drawings marked "2 condensers"; beam - coloured original and reverse drawings; working gear (front and side views) and plan of the injection gear - coloured original and reverse drawings. All the drawings bear letter codes and are marked as being for Barrow Lees & Co.'s "small engines".

For Barrow Lees & Co. Werneth Colliery, near Oldham. These engines were ordered along with the 31 inch above, but were countermanded and never completed. The List of Engines made at Soho notes that the nozzles for the 26 inch engine remained "in our yard for several years till used for the Oxford Canal Co.?" Some of the drawings were also used for the 26ΒΌ inch engine at Llanarmon Mine in 1802 [see Portfolio 5/587].
