Description9 horse power double-acting sun & planet engine, with 16¾ inch cylinder, 4 foot stroke, parallel motion.

Reverse general view of the engine, reverse plans and sections of the engine and boiler; boiler - reverse plan and sections; framing and cistern - reverse drawings; parallel motion - reverse drawing; working gear - coloured reverse front and side views. All the drawings bear letter codes.

For George Lissant Cox of St. Mary's, Nottingham, and Edward and Smith Hall, of Lad Lane, London, hosiers. Cotton mill, St. Mary's, Nottingham. The engine was sold to Henry P. Whately in 1796.
