Set of numbered reverse drawings of the working gear: No. 1 - coloured plan of the top working gear; No. 2 - view of the catch and detent; No. 3 - view of the plug tree and one of the guide posts; No. 4 - plan of the upper working gear; Nos. 5 & 6 - side and front views of the working gear; No. 7 - coloured plan of the lower working gear; No. 8 - coloured view of the plug tree.

For an iron works, Mont Cenis, France. This engine was built and sold by John Wilkinson, and was usually referred to as "Wilkinson's French Engine".
