For J. Homfray & Co. Penydarren Iron Works, Glamorgan. This engine was ordered by Samuel Homfray at the same time as a 45 horse engine for Homfray's forge or rolling mill [see Portfolio 5/327a]. The drawings for both engines were kept in the same book, No. 294, but Henry Hazleton separated them.
