All the drawings bear letter codes.

Original Portfolio or 'Book' No. 528.

For Trinidad. Sugar plantation engines ordered by Phyn Inglis & Co. of London via John Rennie. The engines are referred to on the drawings as the "Trinidad Engines". Engine Order Book No. 5 notes that engine 'e' was originally allocated to a Mr. Hall of Trinidad before being transferred to Phyn Inglis & Co., while engine 'h' was allocated to a Mr. Lowe of Trinidad. The List of Engines made at Soho notes that one of the engines was erected on the Union Estate and was probably owned by Sir Thomas Picton. The Catalogue of Old Engines confuses these engines with ZP, a later Trinidad engine ordered by Rennie.
