For William Seedhouse & Co. Cotton mill, Manchester. Seedhouse & Co. originally enquired about a 10 horse engine, but one could not be prepared in time. Letters in the Drawing Office Letter Book Jun. 1786-Oct. 1791 to Goodwin Platt & Goodwin, Seedhouse & Co. and James Lawson make it clear that they purchased Goodwin Platt & Goodwin's 12 horse engine in Sep./Oct. 1791.
