For Demerara. Sugar plantation engine ordered by John Burke & Co. of 50 Lime St., London. These drawings were originally made in Apr. 1810 for an engine intended for Williams & Wilson for the St. Croix Agricultural Society, but they were not used. They were then intended to be re-used for an engine for Protheroe & Claxton in Mar. 1812, but again were not actually used until Burke's order in 1813.
