Four 6 horse power bell crank engines, with 16 inch cylinders, 2 foot strokes.
Reverse side view of the engine, plan of the engine and boiler, end view of the engine and cross-section of the boiler, longitudinal section of the boiler. Both sheets bear letter codes.

These two sheets of drawings were used for four separate engines. Henry Hazleton assigned a portfolio number to each engine despite the fact that there were no individual drawings for the engines. The engines were as follows:
Robert Selkrig, Demerara (ZG) [Hazleton's Portfolio 792].
For Demerara. Sugar plantation engine ordered by Robert Selkrig, care of Charles Selkrig, Park Place, Edinburgh. The original drawings for this engine were made in Mar. 1812.
Thomas Daniel & Sons, Trinidad [?] (ZE) [Hazleton's Portfolio 793? This engine was omitted from the Catalogue of Old Engines.].
For Trinidad [?]. Sugar plantation engine ordered by Thomas Daniel & Sons of Bristol and delivered to Harford Daniels & Co., Trigg Wharf, Thomas St., London. The original drawings for this engine were made in Mar. 1812.
Protheroe & Claxton, Trinidad (ZY) [Hazleton's Portfolio 794].
For E. Claxton, Trinidad. Sugar plantation engine ordered by Protheroe & Claxton of Bristol. The original drawings for this engine were made in Mar. 1812. This engine used materials prepared for an engine for the County of Kent in 1811, which was countermanded.
Robert & William Pulsford, Demerara (ZM) [Hazleton's Portfolio 795].
For Demerara. Sugar plantation engine ordered by Robert & William Pulsford of Great St. Helens, London. The original drawings for this engine were made in May 1812, and a second boiler has been drawn in specifically for Pulsford's engine.
