Stewart & Westmoreland were agents for various concerns in the West Indies and the Carribean, including several that had previously been supplied with Boulton Watt & Co. engines by other agents. The engine on the Dry River Estate mentioned here was one of two supplied by W. & R. Mitchell in 1813 [see Portfolio 5/790]. |
